Saw V (2008)

hi1I find Saw V better than Saw IV just because of more interesting characters such as Peter Strahm and Mark Hoffman.

Saw V: Following Jigsaw’s grisly demise, Mark Hoffman is commended as a hero, but Agent Strahm is suspicious, and delves into Hoffman’s past. Meanwhile, another group of strangers are put through a series of gruesome tests.

We also get alot more background story to a few important characters and I also like the maze that the victims have to go through in this one. There are great traps in this one, like the pendulum trap and the blood trap. The blood trap is probably my favorite just because of the gory results.

The opening is also really good and I also think that the lesson learned at the end of this film is important and a good one. Jigsaw really exposes the stupidity and egoistic behaviours of humans.

Grading: 8 out of 10.
