Rovdyr (2008)

rovdyr1Norway has produced some great movies in the horror genre and Rovdyr (Manhunt) is another one.

RovdyrThe summer of 1974, four young people are all ambushed and left unconscious. They wake up deep in the woods with no one around but the sound of a hunting horn.

This film is intense and pretty gory in some places. I really like films that takes place pretty much in one location during the course of a few hours and Rovdyr is a mean movie. The movie does get better and better and I did like the acting. It was a pleasent surprise to see Lasse Valdal from Dead Snow in this one.

I mentioned the gore and this film do deliver some nasty scenes, but I would liked to have seen even more of it. You do not want to miss watching Rovdyr.

Grading: 8 out of 10.
