Sleepless (2001)

sleepless1.jpgDario Argento’s movies are always creative and you never know what to expect, but Sleepless if far away from his best effort.

SleeplessAn elderly and retired police detective and a young amateur sleuth team up to find a serial killer whom has resumed a killing spree in Turin, Italy after a 17-year hiatus.

Argento’s movies after 2000 aren’t nearly as good as the ones before and Sleepless is another film that could have been great, but ended up being mediocre instead.

There are som bloody scenes, but the deathscenes do not lift this film enough. The story is good, but not jaw dropping like Argento’s other films have been, but that cover is so dauymn beautiful!!

Grading: 5 out of 10
